Local Ground Rules

USGA Rules govern all play except for the local ground rules below. These are the rules printed on the scorecard.

  • You must have your own clubs.
  • Wait till the party ahead is out of range to play.
  • Out of bounds: fences on 1, 4, 6, and 7; west side of the highway on 5; the sidewalk north and west of the clubhouse; and the parking lot on 4.
  • All creeks and ditches are termed lateral water hazards, and the banks are included. If you lift a ball, you must drop it keeping the point of entry between you and the green.
  • Balls may be moved from any manmade obstruction, but no closer to the hole. No penalty.
  • Repair ball marks on greens. Let faster players play through. No power carts closer than 30 feet to greens and tees. No more than four players together.
  • Carts: 90° rule on course.

Wednesday League Rules

  • League starts at 9 AM on Wednesdays to allow the grounds crew to finish course maintenance. If the grounds crew anticipate finishing before 9 AM, they will notify the clubhouse to let members know they can start early.
  • Children under the age of 18 must tee off prior to 12 PM.
  • If you played 9 and it’s after 12 PM, you may not play another 9.
