The short version

We collect only what you type into a form on this site. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and there are no analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies anywhere on this website.

This policy covers pleasantvillegolf.com. It doesn’t cover our Facebook page, which Meta operates under its own policy.

Booking a tee time

When you reserve a tee time we ask for your name, phone number, and email address, along with your group size, cart, and holes.

  • It is stored on the club’s Google Calendar, attached to that tee time, and used to hold your spot and to reach you if something changes — weather, a course closure, a problem with your booking.
  • Club staff can see it on an internal, passcode-protected page. It is not visible to other golfers, and it is not published anywhere on this site.
  • We keep it as long as the booking stays on the calendar.

Contact and employment forms

The contact and employment forms send your name, email address, and message to the club’s email inbox. We use it to reply to you and, for job enquiries, to consider your application. Nothing more.

Reviews

A review you submit is meant to be published. If we approve it, the name you enter and what you wrote appear publicly on the reviews page for anyone to read.

  • Use whatever name you’re comfortable having shown — a first name is fine.
  • Ask us and we’ll take a review down. No reason needed.

Who else sees your information

We don’t sell or rent anything you give us, and we don’t share it for marketing. It reaches these companies only because they run the tools we use:

  • Google — the club’s calendar, email, and spreadsheets. Bookings, form submissions, and reviews are stored there.
  • Our web host — serves the pages, and like any web server keeps standard access logs.
  • Cloudflare — delivers the icon font the site uses. Loading it sends your IP address and browser type, as any request to any website does. No account or identity is involved.
  • Open-Meteo — supplies the current conditions shown in the menu bar. It is asked about the golf course’s fixed coordinates. Your location is never requested, used, or sent.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It does keep a few things in your own browser, which never leave your device and which clearing your browser data will remove:

  • Whether you chose light or dark mode.
  • A short-lived copy of calendar, results, and weather data, so pages load quickly instead of re-fetching the same thing.
  • Whether you’ve dismissed the “Recent News” popup, so it doesn’t reappear on every visit.
  • For staff only: a sign-in token for the tee-time dashboard, discarded when the tab closes.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their information. High school tournament pages list schools and results supplied by the schools and the state association — if something there concerns you, contact us and we’ll address it.

Your choices

Call or email and we’ll act on any of these — you don’t need to live in a particular state to ask:

  • Tell you what we hold about you.
  • Correct it.
  • Delete it, including cancelling a booking or removing a review.

We may keep what we need for a booking you’ve already made, or where the law requires it.
